Dear Ms. Weinel:
The Utah Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (“Division”) has completed the review of the 2022 Annual Tailings System Wastewater Sampling Report dated October17, 2022(“Report”).

The review was based on compliance with the:1.White Mesa Uranium Mill Ground Water Quality Assurance Plan (“QAP”). Revision 7.5, dated June 5, 2019.
2.Groundwater Discharge Permit No. UGW370004 (“Permit”). Permit version that was signed on March 19, 2019.3.Tailings and slimes Drain Sampling Program (“Plan”) Revision 3.0 dated July
8, 2018.
The Division review concluded that the Report appeared to be in compliance withthe Permit, QAP, and Plan. This letter constitutes a closeout of the October 17, 2022, Annual Tailings
Systems Wastewater Sampling Report.
