Division Of Drinking Water Sanitary Survey
Sanitary Survey
General System Information
Exception Granted: R309-550-7(1) | As part of the proposed construction of the Rich School District Building additions, an existing water service to
the high school that supplies culinary and fire suppression infrastructure will need to be re-located. Due to potential
interferences with the foundations of the proposed building additions, the water service will need to be relocated from under the proposed building.
The area is directly adjacent to an existing septic tank that services the school. The septic lines routed to the existing septic tank will have
approximately 4-feet of horizontal separation and, at the crossing, be at an elevation higher than the proposed water service and will be less than
the required 18-inch vertical separation.
