Here is a list of your comments with my responses in blue: New Source Chemistry (that was already submitted back in 2022). Do you need anything else from us regarding this? Results of the 24 hour constant rate pump test. I have included the 24-hour constant pump test and recovery results in the Google Drive link below. Copy of the well drillers report, with the modified surface seal. The well driller's report with the modified surface seal has been included in the Google Drive link below. Copy of the surface seal certification (which I did, so I have that). Do you need anything else from us regarding this? Plans and specifications (which have been submitted here). Do you need anything else from us regarding this? The plans need to include the well pump that will go into the well with a pump curve, with the operating point described (well pump rate, head, and horsepower rating). I have updated the plans to include the pump information and included them in the Google Drive link below. I have also included the pump documents we received from Grundfos. The plans need to be stamped and signed by a licensed PE, to be able to write the plan approval letter. Curtis has stamped the drawings and I have included them in the Google Drive folder. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/19VFkM08OawQYPND6gNlAZjF2YAlssSje?usp=drive_link Let me know if you have any other issues or concerns before issuing plan approval. Paul Wright <pwright@utah.gov> Vandenberghe Well (WS002) Equipping Plan Review Comments (System 11089, File #12928) Rianna Howard <RHoward@ensignutah.com>Thu, Sep 26, 2024 at 10:34 AM To: "J. Paul Wright" <pwright@utah.gov> Cc: Curtis Nielson <cnielson@ensignutah.com> Hi Paul, Thank you for your comments. I've included how we addressed them in blue: 1) Several sheets refer to the pump-to-waste line and floor drain being conveyed to a retention area on Sheet C101. There were no details to show how this will discharge into the retention area, but there should be one that shows that its discharge point is a minimum of 12 inches above the anticipated high water line and the line should be downturned with a #4 screen and can fully drain. Here is the rule reference: (ix) if a pump to waste line exists, it shall not be connected to a sewer/storm drain without a minimum 12-inch clearance to the flood rim, and the discharge end of the pump-to-waste line shall be downturned and covered with a No. 4 mesh corrosion resistant screen (refer to R309-545-10(1)). Detail 4 on sheet C-300 has been modified to show that the discharge point must be a minimum of 12" above the anticipated high water line and to more clearly show the discharge being downturned with a No. 4 screen. 2) It appears you are planning for a future chlorinator room, but are not installing one right now. If it will be for gas chlorine, ensre that proper ventilvation is planned for (exhaust near the floor, ,away from the door and air intake near the ceiling, opposite side of room. Also, the light and exhaust switches should be separate and both located near the door. We have more clearly labeled the exhaust and air intake locations as well as the separate switches located near the door. Let me know if you have any other concerns.
