On August 20, 2024, you submitted a 30-day hazardous waste storage extension request to the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Division)for the continued storageof NiCad
and Li-ion Batteries(universal waste).It is my understanding that the transporter is unable to pick upyour waste in a timely manner and these are intended to be shipped outon or before
August 30, 2024.
Your extension request is approved provided that while the waste remains on-site the following will be adhered to:
The container is kept in good condition, closed, and appropriately labeled.
Inspections completed and records kept as required to be reviewed at the next site inspection.
