Amendment 28 to Radioactive Material License RML UT 2300249 and Ground Water Quality Discharge Permit No. UGW450005Modification
EnergySolutions, LLC, Clive, Tooele County, Utah
The Director of the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Division) is requesting
public comment regarding a proposed Licensing Action to revise the EnergySolutions’ (Licensee) Low
Level Radioactive Waste Radioactive Material License (RML) UT 2300249 and Ground Water Quality Discharge PermitNo. UGW450005 (Permit) for the Clive facilities nearClive, Tooele County,
Utah.
A 30-day public comment period to receive comments on the RML Amendment and Permit Modification will commence on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 and end at 5 p.m. on Friday, October 4,
2024.A public hearing has been scheduled at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 16, 2024, at the Multi-Agency State Office Building, DEQ Board Room #1015, 195 North 1950 West, Salt Lake City,
Utah 84114.

Under Utah Code Section 19-1-301.5 a person who wishes to challenge a Permit Order may only raise an issue or argument during an adjudicatory proceeding that was raised during the public
comment period and was supported with sufficient information or documentation to enable the director to fully consider the substance and significance of the issue.
