Dear Mr. Gasser:

On August 28, 2024, Rockwell Solutions, Inc. abandoned the eight monitoring wells at the above-
referenced site.

A former Chevron gas station operated at the site from approximately the late 1960s to 1983 when the
underground storage tanks were removed. No environmental testing was done until September 2022
when a Limited Phase II Environmental Site Assessment was completed. The report was submitted to
DERR. Soil and groundwater concentrations exceeded Initial Screening Levels and a release was
reported on October 24, 2023.

After subsurface investigation activities and groundwater monitoring, a No Further Action letter was
issued for the site on April 25, 2024.

Each well was abandoned by Rockwell Solutions personnel. The well can was removed, the well was
filled with bentonite chips and the surface was patched to match the surrounding pavement. Figure 1
shows the locations of the former monitoring wells.
