Comment The most recent permit was reviewed and the facility consists of three
separate landfills. M-336 can accept non-hazardous industrial solid waste
including regulated asbestos containing material, office waste, employee
cafeteria waste, and dead animals. M-136 can accept non-hazardous
propellant burn ash and related non-hazardous debris generated onsite.
Rocky Point can accept large hardware such as rocket motor nozzles,
cases, and other miscellaneous large items. A permit through DWQ allows
the facility to dispose of biosolids within the landfill. The facility holds a
permit with DWQ to dispose of sludge generated from the on-site waste
water treatment facility in the landfill.

Comment The 2023 Annual Report was reviewed and 97% of the waste is from Box
Elder County and 3% of the waste is from Salt Lake County. Total
Materials Received is noted to be 3,909.30 tons. The Landfill Remaining
Capacity is noted to be 56,000 tons/19 years. $671.22 in disposal fees were
paid.

waste is received, M-136 receives cover at least once every quarter. Rocky
Point receives cover as needed. No wind-blown litter was observed and
excellent security controls were in place. Sludge is disposed of at the M-336

General Comments
Comments The facility consists of three separate areas for solid waste disposal. The
facility maintains adequate record keeping, training, and security control
measures. Only permitted waste is disposed of within the landfills and
covered accordingly. M-336 receives sludge (biosolids) from the on-site
waste water treatment plant. This activity is permitted as noted in the DWQ
permit.
