Hi Mike,
Leigh and I will both be out next week on business travel. Next week will not work for the EWA. S he will pick up the
revised Phase I when she returns. We will keep this moving and would like to bring it to a point where we can make a
recommendation soon. I would stick with the 45-60 days from receipt of the application as the target per my original
email.

Hi Bill- we were hopeful y our familiarit y with the s ite and the EW A is sued 3 y ears ago would shave s ome time.
Unfortunat ely, our drop dead c los ing date is 8/20, s o we would need the EW A by the 19th or early on the 20th. W e do
not believe the seller will be willing to extend bey ond this date, s o any thing y ou c an do to meet that timing would be
apprec iated.

Due t o s c hedules, I don’t see that we c an meet that date as Leigh and I are both gone nex t week . I enc ourage y our
c lient t o s eek an ex tension or if they can’t, they can c ertainly withdraw and maintain their Federal defense now that t he
Phase I has been revised.
Pleas e keep in mind that we rec eived t he application July 17 and I was very upfront about timeframes. I lik e to s ee these
things completed and s ucces s ful and we have moved forward quick ly.
Think ing this through I don’t s ee many good options to help meet the timing. I might als o remind you that the COC
applies to a good chunk of this site so there is benefit there.
Let me know how y ou want me to proc eed. I c an shoot for the end of the month whic h makes it c los er to 45 days from
applic ation receipt. W e will work in earnest when we return, but I am also beholden to other s c hedules as well.

this is acceptable.
I drafted an EW A and Reasonable steps bas ed on the previous one we s ubmitted for 3125 Trac y Hall. I did add s ome
language about the Soils Management Plan and an attac hed pic ture of s oil locations, becaus e I think it's important
information, but I can remove those if y ou feel that it's best to us e the old version. I'll res end both the draft and attac h the
old version for c omparis on.
