VCP/Brownfields Section - Site Visit Report

SITE NAME: EDO Western

SITE LOCATION: South Salt Lake City

DATE OF SITE VISIT: 20 August 2024

PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT: DERR (David Bird) oversight of Site Characterization activities.

FIELD OBSERVATIONS: The DERR visited the EDO Western VCP site at ~2:05 pm on 20 August to meet
with site personnel and observe conditions at the site. The DERR met with EDO (Thomas) and
Cameron-Cole (Andrew) and discussed the Site Characterization activities being conducted this week at
the site.
EDO and their consultant indicated they were conducting well gauging, collecting water samples,
collecting vapor samples, and ambient air samples. We, as a group walked various locations of the site
where samples were being collected, and were planned for collection. All work looked to be acceptable
to the DERR.
The DERR left the site at ~3 pm.
