Hi Paul,
Please see our responses to your questions below in blue:
1) Are there any air/vac valves along this pipeline? It didn't see any and typically for longer transmission lines
there are some and are usually planned to bleed air from the pipeline. There are no air vac valves along this
pipeline since there are no locations where the pipeline peaks. The highest point of this line will be where the future
tank is going.
2) Are there any sewer lines in the area where this pipeline will be located? If so, water sewer separation needs to
be addressed either in the specifications or in the details. There are no sewer lines anywhere near this area.
3) Is this the most recent version of the stamped drawings? I saw that they were stamped on January 3, 2024, and
that is over 7 months ago. Yes, nothing on the drawings has changed since that time. We finished those drawings
but have been focusing on other parts of that overall project since that time.
4) As far as valves, I saw a few in the plans, mostly at interconnecting points or where tees are located. Is the
spacing adequate to meet these requirements from the DDW rules? There are no planned future developments in
this area and it will not serve any customers in the foreseeable future. The valves follow the portion of the rule that
says “spacing shall not exceed one mile”.
