Ms.Shelley,
The intent of this letter is to notify the Utah Department of Environmental Quality of the
designation of a new Responsible Official for Compass Minerals Ogden Inc.,located in Ogden,Utah.On
August 16,2024,I assumed the role of Vice President of Operations for the facility.I am considered the
Responsible Official,as defined in the following environmental regulations pertaining to the facility.
Water Quality (UPDES Permit UTO00647)
(a)"For a corporation:by a responsible corporate officer.For the purpose of this section,a
responsible corporate officer means:(i)A president,secretary,treasurer,or vice-
president of the corporation in charge of a principal business function,or any other
person who performs similar policy or decision-makingfunctions for the corporation.."
