The facility is allowed to land spread milk and food processing by-products including whey, waste milk, waste yogurt, food fats, greases, and non-hazardous wash down water. The Q1 2024 Report also noted no waste was land applied. The Q2 2024 Report noted 8,927.07 tons of material was land applied. 1.3 Previous Inspection Review Yes Comment The 12/07/2023 Inspection Letter and Inspection report were review. No issues were noted. The facility did not conduct landspreading activities for over 3 years at the time of the inspection. Previous complaints regarding flocks of birds being attracted to the area began in 2016. There were also complaints of discharging of waste material along roads where the material has ponded and generated odors. An excessive amount of flies was observed. Due to the large amount of flies, the inspector and LHD were unable to get out of the vehicle.
