Hello,
The Division of Drinking Water does not have a record of the following samples from the following facilities:
HIGHLAND CITY (UTAH25014): WELL #4 REPL-1 (WS007) - VOC-COMPL
HIGHLAND CITY (UTAH25014): WELL #4 REPL-1 (WS007) - NITRATE
This is required Yearly per the systems monitoring schedule located at waterlink.utah.gov.
If this sample has been taken and this email is sent in error, please respond by 5pm on 01/18/2024
Failure to sample/respond will result in a violation and corresponding IPS points added to the water system.

Well #4 has been offline due to maintenance and is likely to come back online by July. We are waing for
some electrical components. We discussed this a couple of months ago and Highland City plans to perform
all the required sampling and submit it directly to you before pung the well in line. Please let me know if
we need to do anything else to avoid a violaon and IPS points.
 On a separate note, I would like to adjust the locaon of one of my roune coliform sampling sites to
beer represent the enre water system as we have new developments in previously undeveloped areas of
the city. Is there anything special I need to do with the state and my sampling plan before making this
change?

Mr. Kruse,
WS004 or well #4 for Highland City (25014) was disconnected from the culinary system over the winter and
connected to the PI system for redundancy. Can we place WS004 in inacve status or remove it from
waterlink as it is no longer associated with the culinary system?

I have aached a couple photos showing that the line was terminated at the valve. We now have an above
ground backflow assembly and it is connected to the pressurized irrigaon system.
