and Extell Water Monitoring Package through December 2023 - Mayflower VCP Site

Dear Ms. Hontz:

The Division of Environmental Response and Remediation (DERR) has received and
reviewed the following documents as part of the Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP) activities
occurring at the Mayflower VCP site:

• Monitoring Well WQ Report June 2023 Sampling Event, Modified January 4, 2024,
original date July 27, 2023.
• Extell Water Monitoring Package through December 2023, dated January 4, 2024.

The DERR worked with your team to address and resolve previous technical comments. As
such, the DERR has no additional comments and accepts these documents under the VCP. The
DERR recognizes that the previous water monitoring packages for data through October 2023 and
November 2023 had transcription errors. The 2023 Water Monitoring Package noted above is now
considered the master document since the previous transcription errors have been addressed.

With respect to other project matters, the DERR is reviewing the proposed 2024 Water
Monitoring Plan and will provide comments in the near future. Please continue monitoring the water
in accordance with the 2023 plan until the current plan is accepted.
