Dear Alma Fletcher:The Division of Drinking Water (the Division) received a request for an Operating Permit for the Cannonville Town Water Line Extension Project from William Anderson,
Anderson Engineering, Inc. on April 18, 2023. Previously, the Division received the plans and specifications on April 18, 2023. Written review comments were provided to you and your
consultant on May 15, 2023. The Division received the revised plans and specifications on June 22, 2023. Some additional questions were sent to your consultant on July 5, 2023. A response
to those questions was received on July 7, 2023. The Division issued Plan Approval for this project on July 10, 2023.
Cannonville Town recently annexed some new areas into their town boundaries. One of these areas includes a new resort, called the Clear Sky Resort. To be able to serve water to this
area, an extension of the town’s main water line was required.
The project entailed construction of 8,000 linear feet of 8-inch diameter PVC C900 pipe to provide service to this area. This new water line extension provides a water source, through
a consecutive connection to the Clear Sky Resort, which will operate its own Public Water System. The construction of this water line extension includes isolation valves, air relief
valves, an underground water course crossing, and fittings.
We have received the following information for the Water Line Extension to Clear Sky Resort:
Certification of Rule Conformance with plan approval conditions by a professional engineer.
As-built or record drawings.
Satisfactory bacteriological results as evidence of proper disinfection and flushing.
We have determined that all conditions for operating permit issuance have been met. On this basis, an Operating Permit for the Water Line Extension to Clear Sky Resortis hereby issued
as constituted by this letter. You may now place this water line in service in your water system.
Please maintain a copy of this letter with your permanent records for future reference.
