Groundwater Quality Discharge Permit (GWQDP) No. UGW170003

Dear Mr. Bleak:

In an application dated April 5, 2024, Anfield Resources Holding Corp. (Anfield) submitted an application to
renew and amend their Radioactive Material License Number UT 0900480 (RML) and their Groundwater
Quality Discharge Permit (GWQDP) No. UGW170003. The purpose of the amendment request is to amend
their RML and GWQDP to allow the Shootaring Canyon Uranium Mill to process uranium ore to produce
yellowcake.

The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Division) has performed a “completion review”
of the application. In a completion review, Division staff verifies that all of the information (e.g., maps,
drawing, tables, figures, calculations, etc.) necessary for the “technical review” has been submitted or is
available to Division staff.

Division staff has concluded that the application contains the necessary information to begin the technical
review. If, during the technical review, Division staff determines that additional information is required,
then that information will be requested through the interrogatory process.
