DDW Staff,
I am the engineer of record for the Morgan City water system. Kale Watkins asked me to help him with the Sanitary
Survey - Deficiency Report corrections. There are a few Improvement Priority System (IPS) points that I may be able to
help with. It sounds like the surveyor had some bad information regarding the source capacity of the wells and springs. I
have attached a memo with documentation showing the water system source capacity is sufficient for the current
demand. Also, Kale has also fitted the water tanks with an air-gap as shown on the attached memo. We request that the
IPS points be removed for these three items at this time.

I tried contacting you but was unable to reach you prior to the submission of this survey. I have attached copies of the
deficiencies. I have also attached the IPS Deficiency Correction Notice form for you to fill out and send to the State when
they contact you. Please use the deficiency sheet code along with the date corrected and the corresponding photos of the
corrections. All deficiencies during the survey required reporting event though they were corrected prior to submission. I
have enjoyed working with both of you on this survey. You were both very knowledgeable and helpful.
