MODULE VI
RCRA/CERCLA INTEGRATION
FOR CORRECTIVE ACTION
VI.A. APPLICABILITY
VI.A.1. The requirements of this Permit module pertain to the corrective action of SWMUs
at the UTTR North-Range that have had no hazardous waste added to them after July
26, 1982. The SWMUs at the UTTR North-Range that meet this criteria are listed in
Table 1 of this Module.
VI.A.2. The Permittee shall implement corrective action for all other SWMUs, listed in
Table 1 of Module IV of this Permit, in accordance with the conditions of Module
IV of this Permit.
VI.A.3. Newly identified SWMUs may be added to Table 1 of this Module if the Permittee
provides the Director with information that a given newly identified SWMU meets
the criteria listed in condition VI.A.1. Otherwise, newly identified SWMUs shall be
added to Table 1 of Module IV, and corrective action addressed through the
conditions of Module IV of this Permit.
VI.B. INCORPORATION OF AGREEMENT
VI.B.1. The Integration Agreement for Air Force Cleanup of the Air Force’s Utah Test and
Training Range, the Wendover Range and the Little Mountain Complex between the
U.S. Air Force and the State of Utah, signed November 2006 (Agreement) is hereby
incorporated into this Permit and a copy included as Attachment 17. Pursuant to
Section 4 of the Agreement, all corrective actions for SWMUs listed in Table 1 of
this Module shall be conducted in accordance with the terms and conditions of the
Agreement. All deliverables associated with those corrective actions shall be
submitted according to the timetables, deadlines and schedules specified in the
Agreement. The requirements for all deliverables and schedules under the
Agreement shall be incorporated into and become enforceable as part of this Permit.
VI.B.2. Reserved
VI.B.3. The Permittee requested a modification to incorporate the Agreement into this
Permit in accordance with the provisions of UAC R315-270-42(c) applicable to a
Class 3 permit modification. The modification was approved in May 2007, and the
Agreement was incorporated as Attachment 17.
VI.B.4. For the purposes of this permit, Executive Secretary is understood to mean Director
and Solid and Hazardous Waste Control Board is understood to mean Waste
Management and Radiation Control Board.

VI.C. TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT
VI.C.1. Should the Agreement be terminated, this Permit shall be modified to remove the
Agreement pursuant to the modification provisions of UAC R315-290-41 and UAC
R315-270-42. The Permittee shall then implement corrective action for all SWMUs
listed in Table 1 of Module VI of this Permit in accordance with the conditions of
Module IV of this Permit.
