No more than 15 liters of liquid ammonia/ammonium perchlorate (NH4/AP) solution may be treated by detonation. No more than one 1 liter container may be detonated at one time. Detonations shall occur in a pit designed to contain fragments from detonations. The emergency permit for hazardous waste treatment will remain in effect from February 9, 1993 until May 11, 1993. No more than 15 liters of liquid ammonia/ammonium perchlorate (NH4/AP) solution may be treated by detonation. No more than one 1 liter container may be detonated at one time. Detonations shall occur in a pit designed to contain fragments from detonations. The emergency permit for hazardous waste treatment will remain in effect from February 9, 1993 until May 11, 1993. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) has authorized the Executive Secretary to issue such a permit under Section 3006(b) of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). The Permittee must comply with all the terms and conditions of this permit. The permit consists of the applicable portions of R315-1 through R315-14, R315-50, and R315-101 incorporated by reference. Applicable rules are those which are in effect on the date of issuance of this permit. This permit is based on the premise that the written information provided to the Executive Secretary on February 9, 1993 (hereafter referred to as the application), is accurate and that the treatment will be conducted as specified in the application. Any inaccuracies or misrepresentations found in the application may be grounds for the termination of this permit (see R315-3-19). The Permittee shall inform the Executive Secretary of any deviation from, or changes in the information in the application which would affect the Permittee's ability to coinply_with the applicable regulations.
