This waste propellant is the result of an out-of-spec, batch mix operation. The propellant is contained in an old C-4 motor case. The ninety-day storage period for this waste expires on February 15. In a separate letter Hercules is also requesting interim status for storage of this waste propellant. This extension request is to allow time for the processing of the Part A application revision. If you have any questions or require any additional information, please call John Waugaman at 251-3302. Sincerely, ERA/JLWaugaman/sjw/7826s yJ^^Ot^c^A^ E. R.
