Dear Mr. Downs,
Enclosed is a copy of the Hercules Groundwater Monitoring
Report for first quarter, 1991. This report presents analytical
and water level data from 70 monitoring wells on the Bacchus Works.
Samples were collected during the period of February 11, 1991 to
April 3, 1991.
Approximately two weeks after our sampling campaign began,
Hercules Environmental Testing Laboratory (HETL) started having
complications with their GC/MS equipment. As a result of these
complications, all VOA samples collected after 02/28/91 were sent
to American West Analytical Laboratory for analysis. HETL will
resume analyzing our quarterly sampling campaign during second
quarter 1991.
