Dear Mr. Anderson:
This is in response to your letter dated May 21, 1990 in which Hercules requested
permission to discontinue sampling GW-56.
Prior to acting on this request, Hercules needs to submit detailed information on all avenues
that were tried to save this well. Has Hercules considered installing a smaU diameter
dedicated pump in this well? This could be a relatively inexpensive way to save well GW-56
which is supplying important information.
