The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control has completed its review of the March, 2017 RFI Progress Report. ATK requested no further action status for SWMU #649 in the report. Based on the information presented in the Investigation Reports and the results of the confirmation
sample that was collected after the third round of soil removal at the SWMU, ATK’s request for no
further action is hereby approved. The status of SWMU #649 will be marked as NFA in Table 6-B of the Post-Closure Permit when it is reissued later this year. If you have any questions, please call Jeff Vandel at [phone].
