NOTICE OF EMERGENCY
HAZARDOUS WASTE PERMIT
An emergency hazardous waste
permit (#UT-031-2017) has been
issued to the ATK Launch Systems
- Promontory facility, Box Elder
County, Utah authorizing ATK per­
sonnel to treat military flares that
fail to ignite during airborne and
ground launch testing procedures.
This permit was effective on
October 1,' 2017 and expires on
December 29, 2017. Copies of the
permit are available for public in­
spection during- normal business
hours at the Division of Waste
Management and Radiation Con­
trol, located on the 2nd floor of the
Multi-Agency State Office 1 Build­
ing, 195 North 1950 West, Salt Lake
City, Utah. For further information,

I, Casey Claybaugh, being first duly sworn
depose and say that I am the Publisher of the
Box Elder News Journal, a newspaper of general
circulation, published every Wednesday in Brigham
City, Utah, County of Box Elder; that the notice

ATK Launch Systems
of which a copy is hereto attached, was published
in said newspaper, the first publication having been
made on the 18th day of October 2017, and the last
on the 18th day of October 2017; that said notice
was published in the regular and entire issue of
every number of the paper during the period and
times of publication, and the same was published in
the newspaper proper and not in the supplement.
Same was also published online at utahlegals.com,
according to Section 45-1-101, Utah Code
Annotated beginning on the first date of
publication and for 30 days thereafter.
