Dear Mr. Anderson:
ATK Launch Systems Inc., (ATK) is updating financial assurance coverage for closure and post-closure
costs. Revised closure and post-closure cost estimates for the Bacchus and Promontory facilities in the
amount of $1,322,421 are itemized below.

Promontory Post-Closure $346,675 Updated cost estimate based on year
25 of 30 in the current post-closure
permit using a 1.013 inflation
adjustment.
Total $1,322,421
This value reflects closing Promontory buildings M-47 and M-43, and adding M-629 as a storage
building. The updated closure cost for NIROP, owned by the U.S. Navy, is provided for information only
and is currently $506,833 based on a 1.013 inflation adjustment.
The existing bonds for closure and post-closure costs will be updated to the new value on July 8, 2017.
The certificates of liability insurance for sudden coverage for both locations have been provided, and the
policy for non-sudden coverage will be reissued when it expires on November 1, 2017. We continue to
review our financial assurance mechanism to ensure coverage is being provided in a responsible manner.
