ATK Launch Systems - Promontory Facility UTD009081357^
Dear Mr. Anderson,
ATK Launch Systems, Promontory has prepared this report to summarize activities
conducted under Emergency Permit No. UT-12-2013 between July 1, 2013 and
September 28, 2013. All de-mining activities authorized by this permit were performed
on the KOSMO test range. De-mining activities successfully treated the flares as verified
through visual inspection, and the remaining residue/debris was properly disposed in the
ATK Promontory landfill. Activities conducted under this permit are shown in two
categories below. The first group of de-mined flares was from scheduled operational
testing during the permitted period. The second group was flares recovered from
subsurface sediments during a specific recovery operation.
