PUBLIC NOTICE
ATK Launch Systems-Promontory (EPA ID #UTD009081357) has requested a class 2
permit modification to add EPA codes to their storage permit and to allow storage of
reactive waste received from off-site at the M-l36 Bum Grounds for up to 14 days. The
purpose for this modification is to facilitate storage and consolidafion of chemicals in
preparation for off-site disposal, and to provide additional time to more safely manage
and better coordinate waste treatment efforts. A copy of this request is on file for review
at the Brigham City Library and the Division of Solid and Hazardous Waste. A 60-day
public comment period will begin on January 17, 2007 and end on March 19, 2007. A
public meeting will be held at the Brigham City Library, 26 East Forest Street, at the
conference room, Brigham City, Utah, on Febmary 8'^ from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.
