Subject: Extension Request, Groundwater Flow and Contaminant Transport Model for
Promontory Facility ATK Launch Systems , EPA ID #009081357
In a September 19, 2007 letter your office requested that the updated groundwater flow model be
submitted by December 7, 2007. The incorporation ofthe new layer, as requested by the Division,
has greatly complicated the model and it has taken more time than anticipated to complete. In order
to finalize and review the new model, ATK is requesting additional time with a delivery date to the
Division of January 8, 2008.
