to Utah Hazardous Waste Emergency Permit #UT-017-2008.
Dear Mr. Downs:
ATK Launch Systems - Promontory appreciates the State's timely response to this
request for an emergency permit to bum flares in-place at T-75. After testing on the day
we requested the emergency permit, safety and the test engineers closely inspected the
flares that did not ignite, and determined that they were safe to transport the bum grounds
for disposal. Therefore, we did not burn flares in place at T-75 as originally plarmed.
