RE: Follow-up Report for Einergency Permit #UT-052-2007
Dear Mr. Downs,
In compliance with Emergency Permit No. UT-052-2007, ATK Launch Systems-Promontory has prepared
this report to summarize activities conducted under this permit in the first quarter of 2008. All de-mining
activities authorized by this permit were performed on the KOSMO test range. De-mining activities
successfully treated the flares as verified through visual inspection, and the remaining residue/debris was
properly disposed in the ATK Promontory landfill.

After an initial search, the two flares listed above were unable to be located. Rain and snow following the test
has made the area too muddy for search vehicles. Activities will resume when the area dries sufficiently to
allow search vehicles access.
