Dear Mr. Gosen:

The Division of Solid and Hazardous Waste has completed a draft of a new post-closure permit. The original post-closure permit was issued on September 21, 1992 for a period of ten years.
Although the original permit has expired, it remains in affect until the new post-closure permit is issued. The new permit will replace the original upon issuance.

The Division is providing ATK a copy of the draft post-closure permit (enclosed with this letter) so that ATK has the opportunity to review it and provide comments prior to its issuance.
The Division requests that ATK submit its comments on the draft no later than January 31, 2007. If you have any questions, please contact Jeff Vandel at 801 538-9413.
