HomeMy WebLinkAboutDSHW-2006-007124 - 0901a06880161945Permit Number UT-054-2006 STATE OF UTAH EMERGENCY PERMIT Permitted: ATK Thiokol – Promontory, UTD009081357 Pursuant to the Utah Solid and Hazardous Waste Act, (the Act), 19.6.101-122, et. seq., Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended and the Utah Administrative Code (UAC) (R315-1 through R315-14, R315-50 and R315-101) as adopted by the Utah Solid and Hazardous Waste Control Board, an Emergency Permit (the Permit) is issued to the ATK Thiokol – Promontory (hereafter called the “Permittee”) to treat an old test oven that was discovered during construction activities at the T-75 area at the Promontory facility. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has authorized the Executive Secretary to issue such a permit under Section 3006(b) of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. The Permittee shall comply with all the terms and conditions of this Permit and the cover letter accompanying this Permit. The Permit shall comply with all applicable portions of R315-1 through R315-14, R315-50, and R315-101 of the UAC. Applicable rules are those, which are in effect in Utah during the life of this Permit. This Permit is based on the oral information (hereafter referred to as the Application) provided by the Permittee on the morning of September 15, 2006. Any inaccuracies or misrepresentations found in the request for application of an emergency permit may be grounds for the termination of this Permit (see R315-3-6.2). The Permittee shall inform the Executive Secretary of any deviation from, or changes in, the information in the Application, which would affect the Permittee's ability to comply with the applicable regulations. This Permit is effective for September 15, 2006 only, unless terminated in accordance with R315-3-6.2. Signature: __________________________________ Date: _________________ Dennis R.
