Thiokol Propulsion - Promontory Facility, UTD009081357
The Post-Closure Permit for ATK Thiokol Inc. Promontory facility requires a permit change
or inclusion in a permit at issuance when monitor wells are constmcted and included as part of
ou grou^^^^^ system. Thiokol proposes to install two addmonal J-nes we Is
Tsfummer, and we request the Division include these wells in o-^-^^^ 7^ ^^^^^J*^^"
it is reissued this Fall. Wells to be included within the system are J-7, and J-8. Neither ot
hi wells ai^e comphance wells as defined in the current Post-Closure Permit. The wells will
be on^tmcted meeUng the permit requirements summarized in the letter referenced above,
ITDZI^R. Downs to P V. Hancock dated September 11, 2003. We have also enclosed
an updated copy of the Monitoring Well Installation Plan, which details construction
activities.
