Box 144880 Salt Lake City, UT 84114-4880 Dear Mr. Downs, Subject: Groundwater Monitoring list for wells to be sampled at ATK Thiokol Propulsion for the Year 2004. Enclosed is a list of groundwater monitoring wells that are proposed to be sampled during 2004. Approximately half will be sampled in the Spring and the other half in the Fall. Each well will be sampled once per location. The list includes the previous compliance wells, landfill wells, photographic site wells and wells that are on the perimeter of our property. It also includes new wells that have been installed in the last year and others that are scheduled to completed this Spring and Summer. The springs and EW6 are included because they are also perimeter sources. This selection of wells gives a good cross section of plant activities both in and around the plant and allows sampling of known problem areas. Maps of all installed wells were included in the report, M-136 LTTA Post-Closure Permit 2004 Semiannual Report, (Figure 2.1) submitted in January 2004.
