The Division of Solid and Hazardous Waste (the Division) has reviewed your last response to our comments, dated May 22, 2003, on the Passive Soil Gas Survey Work Plan for SWMUs #202,
551 and 625. The objective of the survey is to investigate potential sources of groundwater contamination at these SWMUs. Your response, together with your previous reply to the Division’s
comments, dated March 20, 2003, address the concerns that were identified by the Division regarding the Passive Soil Gas Survey Work Plan. Therefore, the Work Plan, as amended by your
responses to our comments, is hereby approved.

Please notify Jeff Vandel of my staff one week prior to beginning fieldwork so that he may have an opportunity to observe the effort. If you have any questions regarding this letter
