Part B Treatment, Storage and Disposal Permit for the facility located 24 miles west of
Interstate 15 on Hwy 83 (Promontory Facility). This permit is authorized through the
Utah Division ofSolid and Hazardous Waste, Department of Environmental Quality.
A 60 day comment period will begin on July 29, 1998 and will end on September 29,
1998. A copy ofthe modification request is available for public review at the three
locations listed below: -.^ . -. . _ _
Brigham City Library located at 26 East Forest, Brigham City, Utah
Division ofSolid and Hazardous Waste, Martha Hughes Cannon Health Building, 4*
floor, 288 North 1469 East, Salt Lake City, Utah
Bear River District Health Department, 655 East 1300 North, Logan, Utah
The permittee's compliance history during the life ofthe permit being modified is
available by contacting Mr. Jeff Vandel from the Division of Environmental Quality.
There will be a public information meeting held at the Brigham City Library on
September 2"'', 1998 from 2:00 to 3:00pm. This meeting will explain the changes
requested, and answer question. Comments and questions not covered in this meeting
should be directed to the State DEQ contact person listed below:
