Dear Mr. Robinson:
Your letter dated April 23, 1996 requested information concerning a property located at 1080 Main
St. in Brigham City, Utah. The above mentioned location is Thiokol Brigham City Operation and
has notified the Division as a large quantity generator.
We have no record of any solid waste landfils within one mile of the site.
In addition, we have no information on file with regard to groundwater or soil contamination, spills
or other environmental concems.
Information regarding CERCLA can be obtained by contacting the Division of Environmental
Response and Remediation at 536-4100.

I am requesting any information your agency might have about the parcel
located at 1080 Main St. in Brigham City, Utah which is shown on the
enclosed map. I am specifically interested in the following information:
1. Spill incidents or adverse soil and ground water concems
related to the site and surrounding properties;
2. Environmental concerns based on prior ownership and uses;
3. : Known landfills, federal CERCLA or state registered disposal
sites within a one mile radius of the site;
4. Known ground water or soil contamination areas; and
5. Other regulatory information available that may be of
environmental concern.
