PUBLIC INFORMATION
Thiokol Corporation submitted to the Division of Solid and Hazardous Waste a Class 3
permit modification request on April 25, 1994. This modification requested the
incorporation of new waste codes and treatment to Thiokol's storage permit. A 60-day
public comment period, on the draft changes to the permit, was held by Thiokol with a
public information meeting to address any concems. A 45-day public conmient period, on
the final changes, and two public hearings were conducted by the Utah Division of Solid and
Hazardous Waste. Approval of this modification was given by the Division of Solid and
