PUBLIC INFORMATION
Thiokol Corporation located in Box Elder County submitted a class 2 permit modification on
February 17, 1995. This modification sought allowance of waste to reside in the Hydrolysis
Tank for 21 days withm Building T-93, and for seven days on the Hydrolysis Pad. The
modification also requested provisions for inspections of buildings T-93 and T-94. A 60-
day comment period and a public information meeting was held by Thiokol on March 22,
1995. No public comments were received for the proposed changes during the comment
period. Approval for the class 2 modification was given by the Division of Solid and
Hazardous Waste on May 12, 1995. For further information conceming this modification,
