NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT
on
THREE MILE CANYON LANDFILL PERMIT
The Director of the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Division) is considering the approval of a Permit renewal (Permit) at the Three Mile Canyon Landfill in Spanish
Fork, Utah. The facility is owned and operated by Summit County. Apermit application was reviewed and determined to be complete and in compliance with the Utah Solid Waste Permitting
and Management Rules. The Permit allows the Three Mile Canyon Landfill to operate for ten years after it is approved. The Director of the Division is currently seeking public comment
on this Permit DRAFT.
A 45-day public comment period to receive comments on the Plan will commence on [start date] and end at 5 p.m. on [ end date].
