Director May 21, 2024 James Waltz Grantsville City 429 E Main St Grantsville, UT 84029 Subject: Notice of Source Reactivation, Increased Monitoring Requirements for Grantsville City, UTAH23002 James Waltz: According to the Division of Drinking Water’s (the Division) records, Grantsville City recently reactivated the Hunsaker Well (WS006). This changes the monitoring requirements for this system. The monitoring requirements for this well are given below. An updated monitoring schedule can be viewed any time at waterlink.utah.gov under the Water Monitoring section. This result requires increased monitoring in accordance with R309-205-6(2)(j). The quarterly requirement can be reduced to one sample per year once there are at least two quarters of volatile organic results, and the results are all below respective maximum contaminant levels (MCLs).
