During the review, the Division of Drinking Water (the Division) found the following sources that are listed as actively serving drinking water do not have the proper Pesticide and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) monitoring schedules in place: • Freeze Creek Well (Identified as WS001) • Well #2 (WS002) In accordance with the requirements given in R309-205, Emigration Improvement District is now required to sample the Freeze Creek Well (WS001) and Well #2 (WS002) for the contaminants listed in the table below at the outlined frequencies by the given due dates. As a community water system serving less than 3,300 persons, Emigration Improvement District qualifies for reduced pesticide monitoring. Please submit a pesticide sample from the Freeze Creek Well (WS001) and the Well #2 (WS002) sometime between July 1, 2024 and September 30, 2024. If the results show no detections, the schedules can be reduced from one sample per quarter to one sample every three years.
