Routine monitoring requirements will be placed on each source. The frequency of sampling will vary depending on the parameter and will be determined in accordance with R309-205. Please contact David Kruse at 385-566-7789 or dbkruse@utah.gov with any questions or concerns about the sampling requirements given above. Disinfection Monitoring Requirements Once the sources and treatment plants are online, the water system will be required to monitor the free chlorine residual at the point of entry (POE) to the distribution system for the Bicentennial Chlorinator + Fluoride (TP021) and the Palmer Fluoridator + Chlorinator (TP015) at least three times per week. The system must also complete monthly operational reports for each reactivated chlorinator. The monitoring requirements for the Palmer Fluoridater + Chlorinator (TP015) explained above will not apply if the system chooses not to reactivate the chlorination processes at this facility. Please direct any questions regarding disinfection monitoring to Luke Treutel at ltreutel@utah.gov or (385) 258-6084. Thank you for your efforts maintaining a clean drinking water system.
