Dear Mr. Richards:
The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control has received and evaluated the December 29, 2023 application for a major modification at the ROC-Intermountain Regional MSW Landfill
(DSHW-2023-213261). A draft modified permit has been prepared and is attached with this letter for your review.
When you are finished reviewing the draft modified permit and your comments have been resolved, a 45-day public comment period will be started. Also, during this period, a public hearing
may be scheduled. At the end of the comment period, any comments received will be addressed, and if necessary, changes will be made to the draft. Upon completion of this process and
if no issues prevent the approval of the permit, you will be issued a final permit that is valid until the original permit expiration date, July 28, 2031.
