The Director of the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control invites comnlent from t'ne public on a draft Site Management Plan (SMP) developed by Varex Imaging, former Varian Medical Systems, locat-ed at 1 678 South Pioneer Road in Salt Lake City, Utah. The SMP includes activity use limitations and future ac-tions needed to manage the soil and groundwater con-tamination presént at the site. The property is also re-quired to implement an Environmental Covenant that will be recorded in the Salt Lake County Recorder's Office, after approval of the SMP.
The public comrnent,period to receive comments on the SMP will comtnence on June 1 8, 201 8 and ends 'on July 18, 2018. A public hearing'may be i held if, within 1 5 days of publication of this notice, a request s made to the Director in writing whirn meets the requirements of UAC R31 5-311 -3. _ Documents reldted to the SMP can be reviewed at the following location:
