Spanish Fork City is committed to the removal of trash from a portion of the old Springville
Landfill that is located in the Spanish Fork City limits, in order to provide a pad site for Lowe's
and allow them to receive a comfort letter about the cleanup, The City is contracting with
Wasatch Environmental to advise the City in that process. Other contractors/consultants will be
obtained, as needed,
Spanish Fork City is seeking the Division's oversight of this effort. Spanish Fork City will
reimburse the Division's oversight costs. Jered Johnson of the City Engineering Department will
oversee the project on behalf of Spanish Fork City.
