Anderson Director June 14, 2018 Blaine Jensen, EHS Supervisor Autoliv ASP Inc. 250 American Way Brigham City, Utah 84302 RE: Request for 30-Day Extension to Store Hazardous Waste UTD982592479 Dear Mr. Jensen: The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control has completed its review of your June 7, 2018 request for a 30-day extension to the 90 day storage limit to store six plastic five-gallon buckets of gas generant waste. This waste was placed into storage on March 6, 2018. According to our calculations, the 90-day storage limit for this waste expired on June 4, 2018. Your request is hereby approved. The waste should be shipped off-site by July 4, 2018. If it appears that the DOT classification issue will not be resolved before that date, please contact the Division. Please be aware that extensions are not generally granted after the fact. However, due to the DOT classification issue, an exception will be made in this case.
