SITE VISIT NARRATIVE
The purpose of the May 29,2018 site visit was to document the progress made the previous
week by EPA contractor Environmental Restorations (ER). At the time of the site visit there was
no activity occurring on the property. After notifying Mrs. Jensen I was there and receiving
permission to walk and document the progress made on the property, I walked the property
unaccompanied.
During the previous week, ER had organized all of the small containers with similar wastes i.e.
ignitable with ignitable, oxidizers with oxidizers etc. Previously, all wastes, including
incompatibles, were stored with each other. The containers of waste that are hazardous will be
drummed and shipped to a permitted hazardous waste facility for treatment (if necessary) and
disposal.
For the remainder of the week, ER was going to drum and label the small containers preparing
them for shipment. The drums are expected to be shipped as soon as approval is received from
the treatment and disposal facility.
The photos attached below document the progress made at the Jensen property.
