The objective for the proposed work plan is to evaluate the groundwater conditions at the facility for concentrations of VOCs and RCRA metals. The work plan proposes sampling the four existing on-site monitoring wells, as well as installing one additional groundwater well, identified as MW-5, to be located near boring B-16. The proposal indicates that groundwater sampling will occur on a quarterly basis with the results evaluated, to determine the potential for site closure or continued groundwater monitoring. Should site closure be requested, please submit the rationale that demonstrates and supports your request for site closure or corrective action complete. The groundwater monitoring work plan is hereby approved as proposed. If you have any questions, please call Rocky Stonestreet at (801) 536-0258. Sincerely, Scott T.
