RE: Indoor Air and Soil Gas Sampling and Analysis Plan Park East Apartments, 1717 East Murray-Holladay Road, Millcreek, Utah
Dear Mr. Nolan: The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control has completed its review of the sampling and analysis plan (SAP) for conducting additional investigation activities at the Park East Apartments. The data collected will be used to evaluate vapor intrusion risk to residents of the apartment buildings as a result of
past operations of a former dry cleaning facility located adjacent to the property. If data indicates evidence of vapor intrusion risk, mitigation will be required. Based on the Division's review, the SAP is hereby approved for implementation. Please submit a final report
to the Division after completion of work documenting activities conducted at the site. The report should include analytical results and an assessment of the risks to residents as a result of detected vapor producing compounds. If you have any questions, please call Eric Baiden at [phone].
